Auditions for “The Little Years”

A Play by John Mighton

Directed by Kevin Purcell

Audition Date and Time : Sunday March 24 at 5pm at HCFTA (Hoogland Ceneter for the Arts, Springfiled)

Auditions will be held for “The Little Years” by John Mighton on Sunday March 24 at 5pm at HCFTA. Kevin Purcell, the director, is looking to cast the following roles: Two girls ages 13-22; one boy age 13-22; one man age 30-45; one woman age 30-45

The actors do not need to bring prepared material. Actors will read from the play at the auditions.

“The Little Years” was a huge success during the Stratford Festival in Canada in 2011.  This innovative play explores what happens to a young girl who is a math prodigy. It begins in 1957 and follows her for 45 years of her life. The play also explores time…and how it effects how we see the world and ourselves.
